Flugzeug Trio is a prog-jazz Montreal-based band. Since the very beginning of the project an incredible chemistry between all three members has been leading the band in the most natural way, setting things up for amazing discoveries.The bass-less trio performs originals, which can best be described as very melodic with insane dynamics. Most compositions are written by Chapais, Gagné joining his out of the box ideas to Meza’s unusual rhythms to create a truly inventive project. On this album, they are joined by bassist Chris Tarry who brings his fantastic vibe and wonderful sound.

Flugzeug Trio est un groupe de jazz progressif ayant comme répertoire des pièces originales, prenantes et percutantes, tout en contraste. La guitariste Julie Chapais est à l'origine du projet avec ses compositions axées sur des thèmes mélodiques à travers lesquels oscillent textures sonores riches en émotions et dialogues aux nuances multiples. Le processus créatif du groupe est essentiellement un laboratoire où tout est permis, la seule règle dans l’exploration sonore étant la recherche de ce petit quelque chose d’indéfinissable et d’unique. La présence inspirante du très mélodique Chris Tarry sur leur premier CD allait donc de soi.
